Detailed description: PINUP Network explores connection through structure and balance.

Constructed from metal and steel, the sculpture features a central human figure whose horizontal arms extend outward, connecting two elevated vertical forms. The composition creates a structural triangle: a system of tension and support rather than a solitary gesture.

Unlike purely vertical works that assert their presence upward, this piece expands laterally. The figure becomes a bridge, physically and symbolically connecting two parallel forces. The open lattice structure dissolves solid mass into a perforated framework, allowing light to pass through and transforming the sculpture into a spatial drawing.

The deep blue surface, intersected by white lines, introduces a graphic layer that emphasizes movement through the body. These lines suggest circulation, the flow of energy, or internal mapping, reinforcing the idea of connectivity.

Created in 2014, this work reveals an early exploration of relational balance within Santi Flores’s sculptural language. Here, the human form is not isolated: it is structural, functional, and integrative.

The sculpture stands not as a statement, but as a connector.
