PINUP | Open City is a statement of presence and openness.

The figure rises with its arms fully extended, in a gesture that conveys expansion, welcome, and determination. Its surface, composed of patterns evoking urban maps and architectural structures, turns the body into territory: a space where identity and city intertwine.

The contrast between red and blue brings dynamism and visual tension, while the vertical silhouette reinforces the sense of firmness and growth.

It is a work that speaks of belonging, collective energy, and connection with the environment. A piece with contemporary strength, ideal for spaces seeking character, modernity, and meaning.

Detailed description: PINUP | Open City explores the relationship between the individual and the urban environment.

The figure adopts an expansive posture, with both arms open and oversized hands that emphasize the gesture as the central element of the sculptural discourse. This movement is neither defensive nor intimate; it is public, open, and affirmative.

The surface is intervened with a graphic framework that refers to maps, urban layouts, and architectural structures. The body thus becomes a metaphor for the city: complex, dynamic, and full of invisible connections. The red and blue accents create a visual rhythm that introduces tension, contrast, and vitality.

Formally, the verticality stabilizes the composition, while the upper expansion breaks the structural rigidity. Conceptually, the work poses a silent question: are we the ones who inhabit the city, or is it the city that inhabits us?

The result is a piece that balances firmness and openness, individuality and collectivity.
A sculpture that transforms gesture into architecture and the body into territory.
