ORGANIC | Mural I

ORGANIC | Mural I emerged from a radical period of concentration and silence.

In 2026, Santi Flores spent an entire week isolated inside a Madrid gallery, disconnected from screens, phones and conversation. With only steel, time and the act of making, the ORGANIC series developed outside the influence of trends, commissions or external noise.

Mural I is conceived as a three-dimensional drawing suspended in space. Hand-formed steel lines expand across the wall like an open nervous system, bringing together geometric concentration and free, organic gesture.

The work continues beyond the metal itself. Architectural light casts a shifting second drawing onto the wall, allowing the sculpture and its shadow to change throughout the day. Rather than simply occupying a wall, Mural I activates the surrounding space.
