Detailed description: EXPRESSION | Self-Censorship confronts the tension between expression and restraint.

In this composition, Santi Flores constructs a dense field of vibrant abstract shapes against a luminous yellow background. The shapes intertwine, collide, and assert their presence: an energetic visual language of individuality and movement.

In the center, however, a dominant black square interrupts the flow. Inside it, simplified white outlines suggest contained figures or muted symbols. This central block acts as a visual barrier: a void of silence that imposes itself on the expressive multiplicity.

The contrast is deliberate. Around the black core, color thrives. Inside it, the structure becomes minimal, limited, reduced. The work becomes a reflection on internal censorship: the invisible filters we impose on ourselves, the suppression of impulse, thought, or identity.

The yellow background amplifies the intensity, creating a charged atmosphere in which freedom and limitation coexist. The composition does not suggest external repression, but rather voluntary restraint: the moment when expression stops before becoming visible.

Self-censorship transforms abstraction into psychological narrative.
