SOLITUD | Skyline III is a modular steel wall sculpture by Santi Flores examining the relationship between individual identity and collective structure.

Two independent 3 mm steel elements form a suspended skyline of human figures and geometric structures. The modules can be rearranged to respond to the architecture of the space, allowing the composition to shift while preserving its central tension between repetition and difference.

Installed approximately 3 cm from the wall, the work casts shadows that extend the sculpture into a second visual plane. Light, depth and architecture become active parts of the installation.

Detailed description: SOLITUDE | Skyline III presents a structured gathering of suspended figures within a modular architectural framework. The composition evokes a cityscape—platforms that rise and intersect—where each presence seeks stillness in a shared space.

The work explores the delicate tension between individuality and coexistence. Each figure retains its identity and gesture, yet contributes to a broader, more dynamic system. The repetition of geometric modules creates rhythm and order, while variations in placement and color introduce a subtle individuality within the whole.

Composed of two 3 mm-thick steel elements, the installation is finished with synthetic enamel in multiple shades. The selection of overlapping components visually reinforces the coexistence of proximity and isolation, consolidating the conceptual foundation of the Solitude series.

Mounted 3 cm from the wall, the mural casts layered shadows that extend the composition beyond its physical structure. Light becomes a sculptural medium, amplifying the depth and intensifying the perception of an expanding crowd.

The mounting system has been designed for a secure, efficient, and straightforward wall installation.
