The permanent installation of this sculptural group in Albacete represents a profound connection between Santi Flores and his city. It is not merely a public work; it is an intimate conversation with the streets that form part of his personal and creative history.
Located in the urban setting next to the Posada del Rosario, the sculptures appear as silent presences that accompany the daily rhythm of the historic center. Here, art is not contemplated from a distance, but rather intersects with the daily lives of those who walk, meet, and inhabit the space.
Three figures, one narrative
The ensemble consists of three vertical sculptures that engage in a dialogue with one another. Each piece maintains its individual identity, but together they create a balanced composition that transforms the space into a contemporary meeting point.
The decision to complete the group with a third sculpture—contributed by the artist himself—stems from a clear vision: to create a collective presence that represents the relationship between the individual and the community. The figures rise as open symbols, connecting human gesture with urban architecture.
Industrial matter, human emotion
Crafted from stainless steel and enamel, the pieces reflect the city's ever-changing light, transforming industrial materials into an emotional language. The verticality and stylized forms, characteristic of Santi Flores' visual universe, introduce a sense of movement and lightness that contrasts with the solidity of the steel.
