Santi Flores is an artist born in Albacete (Spain). In his beginnings, he explored the artistic world through music and visual arts. Hand in hand with both disciplines, he builds his own language with sculpture that leads him to distance himself from music, his main occupation to date. The quietness of the studio gives way to a serene and profound creative process that favors his evolution as an artist, consolidating his dedication to the plastic arts. To his research process he incorporates painting and drawing as channels of self-expression that contribute to shaping an artistic personality that looks into the humans and their way of relating to others and their environment. His solid career does not prevent him from tackling ambitious projects assuming possible personal, economic and creative risks, in a constant critical review of the concept of creativity and the art industry.

The material used the most in his work is metal. Deep understanding of it and its modelling applied to his creations gives the metal an expressive, apparently plastic

appearance, far from the picture of hardness and rigidity. This is a singular characteristic of his artistic language in his sculptural work. It also addresses other artistic incursions within the ready -made or installations.
